He does not deserve even his dog's trust, as have been clearly demonstrated. When Mitt Romney ran for the U.S. Senate in MA in 1994, he insisted his Democratic challenger release his taxes because he might be hiding something. Yet, Romney didn't release his own taxes that election, saying he would do so when Ted Kennedy released his. And when Romney ran for governor of MA in 2002, his Democratic challengers, ALL of whom released multiple tax returns, asked Mitt to release his, he refused. This election, Mitt has released only one partial return, refusing to release the associated details about his Swiss bank account, which many people use to evade taxes. His own father, George Romney, when running for president, released a dozen tax returns saying only one return might be a fluke or it might be hiding something that would be revealed from releasing more returns. Many powerful people have put their reputations on the line that Mitt is hiding incriminating information in his taxes that snuck past the IRS. This issue will not die.
